The Italian Federation would like to welcome Anthony Muia as the team's new athletic therapist. Anthony is well known to the Federation, as he is part of alumni team in the category of a player.
Over three years in practice in the GTA, within a multidisciplinary setting, Anthony has held a continuous license in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO), fully insured with malpractice insurance.
Anthony works on numerous pre/post musculoskeletal rehabilitation patients due to sports injury (professional and weekend warrior), motor vehicle accidents, neurological conditions, spinal conditions (congenital/non), as well as many general repetitive strain conditions among many other things within his practice in a multidisciplinary rehabilitative setting.
During his travels abroad, as well as time spent here training in continuing education to maintain his RMT license, Anthony has amassed training within Wat Po Traditional Thai Massage 1, Balanesian rehabilitative massage, yoga for rehabilitation, sports taping, ultrasound therapy, Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS), Meditation for mindfulness in sport, and others.
